Lekali Coffee is one of the best coffee farming agencies in Nepal. Coffee farming had not been popular in Nepal since long. However, certain areas of Nepal are perfectly suitable of Coffee farming. We want you to see the landscape of Nepal along with these specific climates that coffee farming requires.
We all travel to make connections. Traveling is not just a facility, but it is a necessity. A person needs to explore the horizons so they can expand the way they see the world. In this trip, we hope to help you connect to the Nepalese coffee farming community and the farmers, and how the coffee that you drink has journeyed its way to you.
We don't just want you to see how coffee farming is done. We believe in active participating so that you have a story to tell your friends and family about the experience you have gained during you trip to Nepal. This is why we have set activities like coffee cheery picking you can do along with the farmers learn from them.
Nima T. Sherpa is a coffee grower, processor and an exporter. He is also the managing director of Lekali Coffee Estate. After his extensive training and practice in coffee farming, roasting, and brewing; Lekali Coffee Estate has been able to produce high quality specialty Arabica Coffee. He is also a coffee Q Grader, and has taken part in many events.
Although we generally stick to the schedule date, the itinerary is subject to change for numerous reasons beyond our control, including weather and terrain conditions, lodging availability, and the group's general timing.
February and March are the perfect times when you will be able to see the coffee farming at its peak. This is why we don't have many dates for these trips. The dates that we have are the best possible dates.
This trip is for coffee lovers, and who have passion to learn about social economic life in the under developed countries like Nepal. This trip does not have extensive hiking/trekking, but you are required to walk up hill and down hill at the farm. This is again NOT a trekking trip.
