On October 24th, 2022, i took my kids (12 yrs old son, 8 yrs old daughter) to trek the popular Ghorepani Poon hill Trek in the Annapurna.

Our itinerary 3 nights 4 days

• 25 minutes flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu
• Overnight in the lake city of Pokhara
• Drive from Pokhara to Tirkhedunga for 3.5hrs
• Start hike from Tirkhedunga to Banthanti for about 4hrs
• Yes, we did the 3000 stairs hike all the up
• Overnight in Banthanti
• From Banthanti to Ghorepani – hiked about 5hrs
• Overnight in the view point village of Ghorepani
• From Ghorepani to Tadapani
• Kids got to ride horse for 1hr, all stairs up hill
• Then big descend to another Banthanti – from here 2hrs to Tadapani
• Yes, we hiked 5 – 5.5hrs
• Overnight in Tadapani
• From Tadapani to Ghandruk 4hrs hike.
• We lunched in Ghandruk and 4WD to Pokhara
• Amazing trip
