Overview

Explore Annapurna Base Camp in partnership with Vitality Active Travel and Last Frontiers Trekking. An unforgettable journey through the awe-inspiring Himalayas—a dream destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

A Legendary Region in Himalayan Mountaineering History

Breathe in some of the purest air on Earth as you immerse yourself in landscapes that feel like a living masterpiece. The Annapurna region holds a legendary place in mountaineering history. In 1950, Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal made history by summiting Annapurna I, the first 8,000-meter peak ever climbed. In 1978, Arlene Blum led the first successful women’s and American expedition to the summit. Even today, Annapurna remains one of the world’s most challenging peaks, with only 191 summits recorded by 2018.

Why Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)?

Breathe in some of the purest air on Earth and walk through landscapes that look like a living painting. The ABC trek leads you through:

  • Lush rhododendron forests
  • Alpine meadows
  • Towering Himalayan peaks
  • Traditional Gurung villages
  • Terraced fields untouched by time

Every step reveals new beauty—and a deeper connection to Nepal’s culture and nature.
